Our NUCATA won the GOLD medal at IWSC 2024! 
We are proud to announce that our Nucata has made history, becoming the first Moldovan liqueur to win this prestigious trophy at the world’s largest wine and spirits competition, the International Wine & Spirits Competition (IWSC).
Nucata has joined the world’s best and most highly apreciated drinks in the competition for innovation, creativity and taste in the world of spirits that has been running for over 50 years! Thus, a traditional Moldovan drink ended up sharing the stage and winning the gold prize in competition with over 90 countries in the UK finals.
In this competition, drinks are served in numbered glasses to guarantee anonymity, then tested by a panel of experts from 30 countries. At the end the gold medal spirits are re-tested by an independent member of the Jury Committee to certify the quality.
IWSC experts were impressed by the distinctive nutty aroma, subtle notes of dried fruit and peanut shells, and on the palette, notes of almond, dark chocolate and roasted coffee were unforgettable. Check the results following this link!
